The following table shows that imports passing through Danzig had almost
equalled those via Gdynia by 1938. They refer to tonnage only, however. Mass
goods, of low value, were mainly reserved for Danzig (See Table III, from which
is will be noticed that Danzig's share in value was a mere fraction of
Gdynia's).
